Morningtide sera una set tribal basado en clases.  La idea es hacer que importen  los “otros” tipos de cartas en todas las cartas de criaturas humanizadas. Se espera que tenga mas importancia las clases como: Rogue, Shaman, Soldier, Warrior, o Wizard (entre otros). Además vendran nuevas cartas para los decks de Elemental, Elf, Faerie, Giant, Goblin, Kithkin, Merfolk y Treefolk. En enero empiezan los previews en magicthegathering.com
